Ordering and payment
All amounts are shown in Australian dollars, and include goods and services tax (GST) where applicable.
If for any reason you wish to amend your request, please contact our head office on 1800 010 447 Monday to Friday between 8.00am – 6.00pm AEST or email us at email@example.com.
We take your privacy and security seriously; therefore, we do not store credit card information. This means that each time you finalise an order for testing, you will need to enter your payment details.
Immediately upon completion of the checkout process, you can print, save or email your invoice. An SMS is also sent to the mobile number you provide with confirmation of booking and or collection. You should ensure that your mobile phone details are correct at the time of ordering and that your mobile phone privacy settings reflect your privacy requirements.
If your invoice is not delivered or is lost, you can call our head office on 1800 010 447 Monday to Friday between 8.00am – 6.00pm AEST or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to request that a replacement invoice be issued.
Refunds may be permissible where no result is possible due to biological limitations of the test. Please refer to the details on the relevant test pages of the web site. Note that a refund can only be issued to the holder of the credit card that paid for the test.
Unused or expired pathology requests are non-refundable and expire after 3 months. However, based on merit or extenuating circumstances, we may reissue lost or expired pathology requests. Changes to our terms and conditions
As our site changes over time, we may revise our terms and conditions in the future. We reserve the right to change our terms and conditions at any time by posting an updated version of the policy on our website. Your use of the site constitutes acceptance of our most recent terms and conditions and your continued usage after such changes are posted constitutes acceptance of each revised term and condition.

Consent to us transferring your information that you registered with us to the provider, consent to the provider using this information to authenticate your identity, consent to the provider collecting and testing your pathology sample, consent to the provider retaining your information and results as their individual policies and law requires, consent to the provider contacting you or leaving a message on the phone number you have provided to us in circumstances where there is a collection or testing issue, acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for the accuracy of the test results as delivered by the provider nor any delay or failure of the provider, consent to the provider sending your test results to the doctor or clinic nominated on your pathology request form (and as indicated in the provider’s individual policy regarding report delivery), acknowledge and agree that it is your personal responsibility to follow up with your nominated doctor or clinic, acknowledge and agree that we have no obligation to contact you personally about your test results, release the provider from all claims you might have against the provider if the provider is unable to reach you after making reasonable attempts to do so, acknowledge that test results are usually available within the stated turnaround time advised in the test description on the Sonic Genetics website, understand that the provider may require confirmatory testing of a second sample to be performed, and acknowledge inconclusive results may require re-collection and further testing which may result in a delay in turnaround time delivery.
Privacy & security policy
Our privacy & security policy explains what personal information we collect, and how we store and use this information. You consent to the transfer of this information to and within Australia for processing and storage by us and our providers. You also agree that we may use this information to authenticate your use of the site.

You further agree that any disputes or claims that you may have against us will be resolved by a court located in the state of New South Wales.
You agree that we may terminate and/or suspend your use immediately, without notice, if there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or related policies by you or someone using your credentials. We may also cancel or suspend your use for other reasons.
