Genetic test instructions

Not all genetic tests for the same disorder or condition are the same and if your Doctor has specified a particular test on the request form we may not be able to perform it.

If your doctor has specified a test that we perform on a different pathology provider’s request form or an incorrect form, we may not be able to perform it.

This is because for many of our genetic tests we have dedicated genetic pathology request forms that include vital information for the doctor to supply enabling us to provide a suitable result. Similarly, these forms contain some information of importance for you to understand prior to taking the test.
